Q. Where does an employee access the time clock?


A. There are two options:  Users may clock in or out for the day. This can be accessed by clicking on the icon shown below:



Enter in the users pass code then click OK 



Q.  When trying to clock in the user gets an invalid pass code error, where can I go to see why?


A. Check to see if the user:


1. Has been setup to use the feature 


2. A pass code is listed under the users name 


Note: Only those with the proper permissions will be able to check the settings shown 


Click on the user initials in the upper right hand corner then choose Dealership Settings 





Click Time clock from the menu on the left



If the name shows in the list then the user has been setup with the time clock option. If the name is not shown the user will need to be added. To verify the pass code information, click on the user name then check the pass code field. Once the code has been updated or added in for the user click Save 





Click Save one more time 




Q. I am unable to make changes to an employee's time clock entries because I cannot see their name listed. 


A. The user may not be setup for you ( the person trying to make changes) under your associated users list.  To verify whose entries can be adjusted by you, see below: 


Click on the user initials in the upper right hand corner then choose Dealership Settings 



Click Time clock from the menu on the left 




For each user that uses the time clock, Associated Users can be added under the main users name.  This allows for that user to be able to see and make changes to another employee's time clock entries. 


To see which associated users are listed under a specific person click on the users name 



All employees who currently are setup with time clock permissions will be listed. Place a check in the box for each employee that you wish to be able to see and make changes to their time clock entries.
