The F&I Unit Status and Notification allows dealers to be notified of F&I products sold with dealership units or added by the service departments when performing service on a unit. The icon notifications can be found in the Customer's Garage, the RO and Work Estimate lists as well as the Service invoice details.

  1. Icon color meanings
    1. Blue - Means no F&I Products Exist
      • Click to add a new product
    2. Green - Means an F&I product exists with the unit
      • Click to View or Edit the F&I product

  3. Adding or Editing the F&I detail pop up window
    1. To edit a product click the pencil next to the corresponding product. You can only edit:
      • Expiration Date
      • Policy Number
      • Notes
    2. If you are entering a new product you can select the blue or green icon then click +ADD to select:
      • Condition
        • New & Used
        • New
        • Used
      • Product Type
        • Aftermarket
        • GAP
        • Pre Paid Maintenance
        • Warranties
      • Vendor
      • Product Name - Required
      • Product Description
      • Term
      • Expiration Date
      • Policy Number
      • Notes
    3. Click Save
  4. Deleting F&I Products
    1. To delete products sold with MU Sold Units (Customers Garage), users must un-post the deal and remove the product
      1. Caution editing or deleting these products can cause all kinds of changes to reporting and accounting.
    2. To delete a user service added F&I product simply click the trash can icon next to the product and click yes or no
