Navigate to the Dashboard.                         

Select the Customer Search tile from the "Customers" tile set.

Enter the zip code in the Zip Code field.

Press Tab to go to the City field.

If the zip code has not been entered into DX1 as a public zip code, click the drop down menu in the city field. Select Add New.

Enter data for City, State and Country.

Click the  + Tax button.

NOTE: The user has the option to associate a default dealership tax with a zip code; however, if no dealership tax is chosen, DX1 automatically defaults to 0.00%.

The Tax Information screen displays.

Select a tax percentage for each category if desired.

Select Save.

NOTE: Tax information will be saved after the user selects the Save button on the Customer screen.
